Our Management Team
CFG has solid infrastructure and business support management team that has years of experience in healthcare. Moreover, we employ support professionals that work with our customers in all aspects of healthcare. This includes day-to-day operations as well as program development and training.
Our management team covers a wide area of expertise, allowing us to provide quality, cost effective services to our customers. Key organizational team members include:
Les Paschall, Chief Executive Officer: Mr. Paschall is a proven leader and administrator with over 18 years management experience. Through his many years of health care management he has managed, designed and developed service systems for large local and federal institutions He is responsible for organizational performance and leadership of all corporate and contract staff to include physicians, psychologists, advanced practice nurses, social workers and other administrative staff.
James R. Varrell, M.D., Medical Director and President: Dr. Varrell is responsible for monitoring the quality of medical and health services for all CFG Health Systems contracts. Departmental activities include physician liaison with other medical professionals, utilization management, continuing medication education and management of our quality improvement program. A renowned member of New Jerseys medical community, Varrell actively participates in the establishment of protocols, clinical policies and audit activities.
Laura Leahy, MSN/APN-CNS, Vice President: Ms. Leahy is responsible for the development, implementation and support of medical, health and substance abuse programs. She is the Clinical Manager for all nursing personnel. She has an active role in the establishment of medical protocols, clinical policies and medical audit activities. She provides contractual support and consultation to ensure that service expectations have been met and the customer is satisfied with the program services.
Al Campana, MBA, Chief Operating Officer: Mr. Campana has over 26 years of Clinical and administrative management experience in the healthcare field. In the role as COO, he is responsible for business operations to include the fiscal development of proposals, contracts and monitoring of performance, and is responsible for establishing and administering all financial and reporting systems.
Our Clinical Team
CFGHS and its sister organization have a unique and diverse clinical team. We currently employ a wide range of general practice physicians, psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Nurses, social workers, substance abuse counselors and Psychologists. Including our administrative staff, we employ approximately
600 professionals. All of our clinical staff are employees and are oriented to embrace our organizations mission and values. We offer significant depth in both staff numbers and clinical expertise. Such diversity and stability allow us to recruit selectively to ensure a high quality of staff and staff development. We are one of the few non-hospital/ non-community healthcare organizations which is legally structured to employ and supervise both psychologists and psychiatrists. This enables us to closely coordinate our clinical team and promote our organizations program philosophy.
