Cost Accountability
We live in uncertain times. Healthcare costs keep spiraling upwards. Financial situations are changing continuously. With this in mind, CFGHS understands its responsibility to incorporate cost effectiveness and cost accountability into its programs. We do this by ensuring that there is accurate cost reporting so that your organization can know exactly what its expenses will be. We work within your organizations infrastructure by maintaining a strong infrastructure ourselves. Through our commitment to training and education, we at CFGHS demonstrate our philosophy in our service delivery and practice. We employ staff members with credentials at all levels. Thus, depending on the nature of a customers requirements, we have at our disposal physicians, dentists, advanced practice nurses, RNs, LPNs, psychiatrists, licensed psychologists, and social workers as well as other ancillary staff.
CFGHS experience in providing behavioral health and training services to various facilities enables us to identify areas where cost and service expectation impacts a proposed program model. Moreover, we have also been extremely successful in keeping the cost of our current contractors below the national standards for rises in health care costs.
Our Quality Assurance Program (CQI)
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) is integral to the provision of both clinical and non-clinical services. The goals of CQI include improving processes, reducing costs, improving outcomes and increasing both technical and perceived quality. Clinically, they also include reducing preventable morbidity and enhancing utilization to improve cost efficiency. Administratively, goals include ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Our Medical Director, working with our Health Services Administrator have primary responsibility for the overall Continuous Quality Improvement Program.
Our CQI program establishes, in an objective, systematic manner, patient care indicators for CFGHS to evaluate the quality and appropriateness of care; to resolve identified problems; and to pursue opportunities to improve care.
Utilization Reviews
The CFGHS utilization management program is organized under clinical leadership to ensure that appropriate clinical decisions drive utilization. Physicians review all utilization decisions. Utilization management and CQI will function as a team in prospective and retrospective review of specialty and hospital care.
